How do I delete my account?
Just taking a break?
Instead of deleting your account, you can turn on Do Not Disturb (DND). This hides your profile from new matches and search results while keeping your account active.
There are also benefits to keeping your Talks account, even if you’re not actively looking for opportunities right now. Your free profile can continue working for you at no cost, including:
- A shareable speaker or show page that makes it easy for podcast hosts or guests to discover you and reach out
- Ongoing visibility online, so potential opportunities can still find you even when you’re not actively searching
- Daily suggested matches to help you discover relevant podcasts, guests, and potential connections when you’re ready
- Your profile stays ready to go, so you don’t have to sign up again or rebuild your profile when you decide to become active

Your existing profile and information are preserved, so the work you’ve already put into setting up your account isn’t lost
DND is a good option if you’re simply taking a break. You can keep your Talks account without actively using it, then turn DND off whenever you’re ready to start connecting again.
With DND enabled:
- Your profile is hidden from new matches and search results
- You won’t receive new match activity during this period
- Your public page is still visible if someone has your direct link
