How do I add a video pitch to my profile?

To add a video pitch to your Talks profile:

  • Log in to your account
  • Go to your dashboard
  • Click the gear icon (settings)
  • Select Guest Profile from the dropdown
  • Click Edit Profile
  • Scroll down to the section labeled “Video Intro URL”
  • Paste a YouTube or Vimeo link to a short video introducing yourself
  • Save your changes

Note: The Video Pitch feature is available for Pro users only.

Tip

Keep your video short and focused, introducing who you are and what topics you can speak about.

If you need help writing or structuring your video pitch, you can follow these guidelines:

a) Your video pitch should be 60-90 seconds in total (maximum allowed duration is 2 minutes).

b) Make sure you have an uncluttered background, record in a quiet space using a microphone or headset for good audio quality.

c) We recommend your video pitch is recorded in the following format:

  • Introduce yourself (<10 secs)

  • Establish your credibility

  • Showcase your uniqueness

  • What’s in it for the show

  • Call to action (<10 secs)
